‘Rang Amaizi’ is an innovative concept which sprouted in the technical brains of the students of NSS Unit of L.D. College of Engineering, whose motive was to enhance the beauty of the spoiled walls by organizing a wall painting competition with the help of talented youths. After tremendous success in its first four years, this year an updated version of Rang Amaizi -“Rang Amaizi-18” is planned on 26th Feb 2018.

It was the first time ever in history when a technical institution was carrying out such an event so the sponsors doubted its gravity. But it turned out to be a grand success for the first time with 92 teams, second time 128 teams, third time 250 teams and fourth time 350 teams and more than 2400 participants that gifted L.D. College of Engineering the best in class paintings.

It started with a college but now the passion has grown to take whole Ahmedabad and spread the art. Its aim is not only to beautify walls but also spread awareness regarding art in the youth. This project is highly appreciated by the State Government and now it is under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
